A Customized Indicator-Based Tool to Assess Resiliency of Egyptian Coastal Cities: Case Study of Red Sea Cities

The increasing severity of climate changes and environmental risks led to the paradigm shift in urban planning towards resilience cities. However, coastal cities are on frontline facing these challenges. local context developing countries is adding more pressure city resilience. In Egypt, Red Sea increasingly exposed flash floods, storms under uncertainties risks. They have special environmental, social, cultural, economic characteristics. This research aims develop a customized community resiliency assessment tool, which considers Egyptian literature shows that than 30 tools frameworks assess been developed. this paper argues indicator-based should be tailored reflect context. From here, available from different perspectives their associated indicators were reviewed filtered according national data drivers. Then features study area
